Taking a break while hiking in Glacier National Park
Here are some pictures of my Idaho mountain life sister. I can’t believe we live such different lives, but enjoy each other so much! My only regret is that her and her mountains are not closer to my home here in Florida! #alwaystreasurefamily #sistershearts=nodistance
Her home
Her chapel in the woods
Greenhouse
This is the area around her home. They live on top of a mountain, ( a few miles from the top). They have 11 acres including, 3 gardens, a greenhouse, a chapel in the woods, a meadow, a creek with a pond, lots of trees, critters and internet that works when it wants to!
View from top of her mountain and that is where all the huckleberries are! The lake below is Lake Pend Oreille, the largest lake in Idaho covering 148 square miles.
This is Granite Lake which is just a few miles down the mountain where we spent the day kayaking. Notice the rope swing that we were entertained by watching 3 boys jumping off it and then swimming to the alligator log! I caught the alligator, but no rope swinging for me!
Random pics of us from my visit to North Idaho.
I’m glad God gave me a sister. Even though we are far apart in distance, and our lives are so different, we can be one in spirit and learn from the different occurrences and lifestyles in which God has placed us.
