Longtime Friends

A friend loveth at all times……Proverbs 17:17

Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ….Galatians 6:2

I had the opportunity to meet with some faithful friends this past week. We were homeschool partners, fulfilling what we felt was our purpose at that time in our life, educating our children.

It was a beautiful time of fellowship, catching up on each other’s lives. We listened to each one share our new challenges of life, now that our children have all grown up! We had made so many memories together and spent so many years investing in our children with joy, and became fast friends. The kind of friends that you will never forget. Friends that made you laugh and friends that shared their tears. Friends that we ate with, played with and planned with. I felt very blessed to have shared a part of their lives. We really felt like a team, back then, and today it feels no different, even though we don’t see each other as often as we’d like to now that we do not share the common bond of homeschooling. We came together just as we had years ago, and had that same comradeship and a purpose. This time it is to keep each other encouraged and lifted up in our new phases of life!

Thank you, Loretta, for connecting us all again. My heart was encouraged and full as I left all of you beautiful friends. I know God has good things for all of us and I can’t wait to see what He will help us through in the near future! I am just very sad we did not get a picture together! 🤷‍♀️ 🥲

Here are a few throwbacks from our past homeschooling years. These are just what I found on my phone. Don’t even know why I saved these particular ones, but I enjoyed them and hope you all do too.

God bless each one of you. I am very grateful and happy you are part of my life and I want you to always be! I love all you wonderful, God chosen friends!!

Always in every prayer of mine for you all, making request with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Even as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart ❤️……Philippians 1:4-7
