God has made all things new…..is one of my favorite sayings. I know, I know, I’m really late getting around to blogging this, but hey, I’ve had a busy year so far!!!

Christmas came and went and then it’s here… the new year. New years are great for starting over with things that perhaps didn’t work the previous one, with new challenges, with re-grouping and having a fresh start. I like new years too, because it is my anniversary and we always set new goals together, thinking of how good God has been to keep us affectionately married yet another year.

And this new year was special BECAUSE… I gained another grandchild at the end of January! Elliot Issac Irwin was born Jan 31st! I got me a boy! Of course a trip to PA was in order, taking care of the girls while my daughter Andria was in the hospital. I ended up staying a little longer than I anticipated because Elliot was taking his sweet time entering this world! I had to leave the sweet thing when he was only 4 days old! I am thankful though, very thankful, for a healthy boy and that Andria bounced back quickly after having a quick delivery with no meds or complications!

Then right to the grind when I got back home with only a week before our annual Fellowship meeting on the horizon. Of course there is prepping for that, music to get ready, practicing to do, not to mention the baking and getting the house ready for company. I love hosting and always want my home to be a home away from home for those staying in it.

So now, life is getting somewhat back to normal! Ha ha! We’ll see how long that lasts. It is hard for me to believe that Easter is only a month away! The older I get, the faster time flies.
That is my life update for now! As always, God is good!!
