Today is a sad day for our family as we remember this tragic accident that happened to my sister and her family described below, 3 years ago.
Our families were close even though we lived far from them. The cousins were good friends and we saw each other yearly. This was not only a tragedy to my sisters family, but it affected our extended families deeply. There are no words for the grief and heartache that surrounded the whole event. It is only by Gods Grace that my sister is who she is today……A strong woman of God.
Going through times where we don’t understand the why will either cause you to have faith or become bitter at Gods plan for your life. We choose to trust in His Infinite wisdom and plan. God is the reason we live.
To show our gratitude for sustaining our life, we please him in every aspect of our life on earth. The least we can do is live a life pleasing to God. Displeasing God has not been a part of our lives, it was pounded in our hearts and souls from our youth, and we hope it is something that carries on to future generations as it makes us who we are.
We never know when our life can end. Accidents (Within Gods plan) happen all the time. I want to be ready at any time to see Gods face and know that I
have pleased my maker.
