We Remember….a tribute to my sister.

My tears can’t stop falling as I remember. I remember getting the tragic news and walking around in a fog of disbelief….waiting….waiting for the inevitable. Sometimes memories hurt. Hurt because they’re hard times. Times we want to forget.

There’s always something to learn through tragic losses, and one thing I have learned is that my sister is a hero.

Two years ago, she lost two of her sons in a drowning accident that left all of us wondering why. It shook our faith and made us cling to God for answers…..which weren’t there.

My sister had to trust God in the dark. And that she has. Her faith is strong. She don’t doubt God and His plan for her life. She isn’t bitter, but sings of God’s goodness. She doesn’t mope and gripe. She holds her head up high through her tears. She shares her grief and imparts wisdom to others. She can still have good ole belly laughs. She loves life and cherishes those around her, even her chickens. Her home has open arms for anyone needing comfort. Even though her heart has been broken, it beats brave and courageous. She is a hero. A hero for conquering her fears. A hero for living a good life through one of life’s hardest losses…. not one, but two sons.

Katherine Marie Grasser my hero sister. I love you!❤️

God is still good. All. The. Time.

Here we are again on top of the beautiful mountain she lives on.

Me, my other sister Lucy and Kathy from sister trip 2018. Yes we all live in three corners of the USA. Since the boys death we have made it an annual tradition to get together each summer. Life and relationships are so very precious. Take time to celebrate those you are closest to.

We are strong women!!! After a hike down that mountain above and back up again. With Mandy (my sisters daughter, me, Kathy and Lucy. Sister trip 2019.
