Hello my people….. (anyone that is related to me or I feel a deep affection for)
Since we, my people and I, were together in Manassas VA for my nieces wedding, I have been tossing around ideas how to be creative in sharing my life with them across the miles. My sis does a voice podcast, my daughter and my niece do emails and I tried, at the beginning of the year, to do a video post but it never happened. Why? Because I couldn’t stand to look at myself for that long!! Haha! Anyway. I just decided that I’m better at writing than doing impromptu speeches. Having the time to write weekly seems exhausting and only for those who are young and full of energy. So this is my idea.
I ran across a friend of mine who was using the One Line A Day five year journal. It seems to be a cool concept. You write one line (or maybe a few) everyday for a year. The next year you go back to the same page of the last year and write more lines and so forth. So that eventually you see a sum up of 5 years on each page! So maybe I can find the energy to write one line a day! I do have a scheduling calendar I use to keep up with all of my students, so I thought, why not just use that. Then my people can even see how my day unfolds.
Next is to take pics of each day and maybe add a few extra in there of things I might be referring to, and there you have it! Somewhat of a pic blog! What do you think? I hope it won’t get too boring. And I hope I can keep it up. But it does seem easier than writing long posts each week. I like seeing pictures and hope you do too.
So here it goes. My week last week in pictures!

HAPPY EASTER!!
The dress I finally found. Was two separate purchases from 2 different stores of which I took back 2 items after they didn’t look right with the dress. I love how the crocheted jacket looks! So I ended up fat but happy π

Me and my handsome hubby!
My daughter Audry and I.

My PA daughter and her hubby, Jeff and my sweet grand baby Aria.

Let me know what you think. I’d be happy to hear your comments or even some tips on how to make this better. Of course I wrote more in this post explaining myself than I plan to weekly. So for those of you who wanna see glimpses of my daily life, just follow my blog. You can set it to email you when I post or just come here whenever you wanna see what I’m up to. I’m hoping to do this around once a week. Just click on the menu tab to find the Glimpses of me tab.
I love my people and love hearing from them, so hopefully they’ll enjoy hearing from me too!
Kendy
