Ephesians 3:19-20
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
I want to be so filled with Him that I might have power to receive above what I can ask or think.
Life is hard right now. Relationships are never easy. You make yourself vulnerable. You sacrifice. And sometimes you can’t win. You want all those that you love to be happy. But that is not reality. I’m learning this. I think Jesus is the only one who can make all men happy at the same time! Lol!
Being recently married to my friend has been wonderful and happy, challenging, and not without some sacrifice. Love takes sacrifice.
As we have just celebrated Resurrection Day, I can’t help but think of all that He sacrificed. For me. His love passes my understanding. And yet the Word says “and to know….to truly know….the love of Christ.” However, even though it passes our knowledge, we are benefactors of His love!! What a huge blessing.
Oh that I could love like that. To be so selfless that I would choose to die for someone else. Teach me Lord to be full of you. Full of your love, that I may receive power to receive the desired blessings of my heart.
